Check Out Today's BRUTAL Leg Session.........

OK today was rough. One of the roughest yet in my new program. I'm in the last cycle of my program so that means increased volume and intensity. The next cycle will drop some volume but maintain high intensity. Scroll down to see the carnage.

Leg Curl - 2 warmups then right into working sets.

4 sets of 15 reps - last set will be a drop set. Drop the weight 50% and do 25 more reps. The weight should be heavy enough to get 10-15 before you have to stop. Finish the remaining reps after a few breathes. 

Barbell RDL - No warmup here

4 sets of 15 reps -

Leg Extension Machine - 1 warmup set then right into working sets.

4 sets of 15 reps - last set will be a drop set. Drop the weight 50% and do 25 more reps. The weight should be heavy enough to get 10-15 before you have to stop. Finish the remaining reps after a few breathes.

Smith Machine Squats - 1 warmup set to get the knees warmup. Feet were forward about shoulder width. I may sure to relax the knee joint to put more stress on the quads. They were done in continuous fashion which means, once I started there was no stopping until reps were completed. BRUTAL.

Leg Press - No warmups here. I knew what I needed to start with.

They were done in continuous fashion which means, once I started there was no stopping until reps were completed. 10X BRUTAL. These broke me down fast and about sent me puking.
