Dietitian & Foodie, Jeanine Kennedy, RDN, LDN, Reviews Pure Whey Chocolate

Video transcript:

Hey guys.

So I'm trying out a new product today. It is the Pure Label Nutrition, Pure Whey, a hundred percent premium, grass fed whey protein powder, chocolate flavor.

The nutrition stats are for one scoop, 130 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, three grams of carb, one gram fiber, two grams sugar and 23 grams of protein.

I followed the directions and I mixed it with six ounces of unsweetened almond milk. I also put in a few ice cubes and put it in the blender. So I have it here to try out and we'll see what I think of it.

I think it has a really good cocoa flavor but it's actually still really light so it's not super sweet. I could definitely finish the whole thing and not feel like I had something with a whole lot of sugar in it. Um, which would actually make that a really good option for my patients after surgery. Um, and for anyone who just doesn't like shakes that are overly sweet, um, I would definitely use this in the future.

You can get it online at their website. And then also at Amazon. So highly recommend you try it out.
